Today's quote comes from the 1939 film Gone With The Wind.

The film Gone With The Wind is based on the Pulitzer Prize winning romance novel by Margaret Mitchell that was published in May 1936. The film and book are both set during the Civil War and Reconstruction and revolves around the daughter of a wealthy plantation owner, Scarlett O'Hara. The film starred Clark Gable, Vivien Leigh, Olivia de Havilland and Hattie McDaniel.
This film won 10 Academy Awards and is said to be an iconic film and to be honest for actress Hattie McDaniel, a Black woman to win an Oscar for her portrayal at a time such as that her performance had to be AMAZING.
I chose this movie and this particular quote to publish because the American Film Institute (AFI) voted this quote as the number 1 movie quote of all time.
I haven't seen this movie, but wouldn't mind checking it out just to see what the buzz is all about.
